We offer over 46 years of experience as a premier provider of 3m thermal, VHB, and EMI solutions, as well as vibration damping, and adhesives for the Electronics, Semi-Conductor, Biotech, and Med-tech industries.

We are a family-owned and operated business bringing dependability and consistency to our customers. We work diligently with our manufacturers to ensure quality, value, and availability of the latest innovative products.

Rathbun Associates was formed in 1967 by Gail B Rathbun, a mechanical engineer with an extensive background. The original company name was the Gail B Rathbun Company, and began as a distribution and sales representative company specializing in mechanical and motion engineered solutions. Rathbun’s customer list was small, and made up of fledgling companies like IBM, Varian, Hewlett-Packard, Kaiser Electronics and Fairchild Semi-Conductor.

Rathbun Associates has changed and grown with its Silicon Valley neighbors. However, it remains true to its roots still today, more than 40 years later.
