This die-cutting method uses a steel rule die that cuts through the top layer of the material and simply "kisses" the backing material (liner), leaving the parts cut but still intact on the liner. Kiss cutting allows for custom-designed adhesives for manufacturing and other industrial applications, often used for VHB™ tapes, thermal materials, ISOLOSS™ LS foams, and more. Our custom kiss-cutting fabrication services allow us to provide parts cut from a roll or a sheet that have not been cut all the way through. Your custom parts can then be peeled directly from the sheet for use in your intended application.
